Tracy helped me learn how to add calories to my daily intake in order to maintain my weight and eventually put on some much needed pounds during my long distance swim training. I am an extremely picky eater, so this was no small task. But it worked and by the time I started college I was stronger and better able to handle the training.

I have been a competitive swimmer since the age of 6, but even with all of those years of experience it was not until age 16 that I finally reached my body's true potential. I had always had a problem with finishing the last 10% of a race. I would get extremely tired, and slowly fizzle out. I had a meeting with Tracy prior to a state championship meet when I was 16, and she explained to me why I was giving out of gas. She explained to me that I was not putting enough fuel in my tank, and my glycogen stores were getting depleted. She told me of many different foods to eat in the days before the big meet and what different foods to eat during the meet. I went to the meet having followed all of her directions, and I had absolutely no problem finishing races. I went all personal best times, and won the state championship in the 100-meter breastroke by over a second and a half. My body finally allowed me to finish a whole race without crashing.

Tracy provided important information to the women's tennis team. As high school students, they are often too busy to eat a nutritional lunch. Tracy told them exactly what to eat and when. Tracy also stressed the importance of hydrating properly before their matches and during the match. They now know what to do to help them play their best. The brain and body need food!!! Thanks to Tracy for all her help

My performance in high school football, track, soccer and recreational league soccer has improved 100% with the help of Tracy Owens and Triangle Nutrition Therapy.  A quick diet evaluation and presciption helped me gain 18 pounds over the season when most of my teammates lost weight. Thanks, Tracy!

Tracy's family friendly approach to helping my athlete's nutrition and performance also helped all of us become more healthy. The consultation and use of Tracy's recommendations was quick, easy for a family to use, and a worthwhile use of our money. From one working mom to another - thanks, Tracy! After meeting with Tracy, I was shocked at how many carbohydrates my son really needed to swim well.

The last time we met I was busy training for the NYC Marathon.  Good news:  I finished with a time of 2:47:12.  The time was over 7 minutes faster than my previous PR and 3 minutes faster than my goal time.   I truly believe that my diet had much to  do with my success.  I significantly reduced my intake of protein and significantly increased my intake of carbs.  NY  City Marathon runner
